VPNIG Help Center
Find practical steps by issue area, from accounts and subscriptions to connection troubleshooting, peak-hour route selection, billing, and refunds.
Accounts & Subscriptions
For account issues, first distinguish login details, subscription information, and client configuration. Subscription links are account information; get them from the user panel and keep them secure.
Register without an email addressWhat do I need to register for VPNIG?
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Choose a username that is easy to recognize but not reused on other sites, and store your password securely. After registration, open the user panel to view plans, get clients, and manage your subscription.
What should I do in the client after updating my subscription link?
First, open the user panel and copy the current subscription. Then find the client’s update subscription or refresh configuration option. If the old configuration still appears, delete the old subscription and import the current one again. Your subscription is account information, so do not share the link on public pages or with unrelated people.
Do I need to buy a new plan when I switch devices?
No. Switching devices alone does not require a new purchase. VPNIG has no device limit, and the same account’s active subscription can be used on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux. After switching devices, get the client from the user panel and import the current subscription again.
Which operating systems support VPNIG?
Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux are supported. Get the client information for your system from the download area in the user panel, and avoid downloading installers from unknown sources. After importing your subscription, choose a route for your use case.
What should I do if I forget my account details or cannot log in?
Check the username’s capitalization, input method, and whether spaces were added before or after the password. If you still cannot log in, use the ticket entry in the user panel to provide your username, relevant order details, and the message you see. Never submit your password or full subscription link on a public page.
Connections & Troubleshooting
Start by defining the scope of the issue: is only one app affected, only one route, or the entire local network unstable? The clearer the scope, the faster the fix.
Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / LinuxWhy does the system show connected when one app still cannot be accessed?
A common reason is that the app is not covered by the current proxy rules or is still using a network session created before the connection. Fully quit the app, check whether the client’s current mode covers the target app, and open it again. If only one app is affected, check its independent network settings and background connection permissions first.
What should I check when importing a subscription fails?
First confirm that you copied the current subscription from the user panel, not the page address in the browser’s address bar. Then check for spaces around the link, whether the client allows subscription imports, and whether your local network can open other websites normally. If it still fails, delete the incomplete configuration and copy the subscription again from the user panel.
What troubleshooting order should I follow if the connection keeps dropping?
Switch to another route in the same region first to determine whether the issue affects one route or your local network. Then pause other proxy tools that may also be taking over the network, so multiple configurations do not run at once. If the wireless connection is unstable, test again from a more reliable network, and include the route name and symptoms in your ticket.
What should I do if my browser works but other software cannot connect?
This usually means the browser is using its own proxy while the system or other software is not using the same network path. Check whether the client is configured for browser-only traffic or system-wide connections, and see whether the target software has its own proxy settings. After making changes, fully quit and restart the target software.
Speed & Routes
Route selection is not just about momentary latency. Region, route type, local carrier, target service, and time of use all affect the final experience.
120+ countries / 160+ routesHow should I choose a route during peak hours?
Do not focus only on the lowest momentary latency shown in the client. Start with a nearby region and a more stable route type, then run several real-world access tests. If a popular route is congested during peak hours, switch to another route in the same region or a nearby region. For long-lived connections, also watch sustained stability rather than comparing only the speed at connection time.
When choosing a route, which matters more: region or route type?
Consider both together. The region affects the physical path and the target service’s content region, while the route type affects how the cross-border connection is organized. For everyday browsing, start with a nearby region. Video, meetings, and continuously running AI Tools require closer attention to connection stability. If the target service requires a specific exit region, prioritize the region.
What is the difference between IEPL, transit, and direct routes?
IEPL focuses on a more controllable cross-border connection and suits use cases that require consistent stability. Transit routes optimize part of the cross-border path through an intermediate entry point. Direct routes take a more straightforward path, but performance depends more heavily on the local carrier and current network conditions. Test based on your network, target region, and time of use.
How should I adjust things when AI Tools or Streaming connections are unstable?
First check whether the target service requires a particular exit region, then choose a route in a matching region. AI conversations, image-generation tasks, and video playback may keep connections open for extended periods, so stability is usually more important than a one-time speed-test peak. After switching routes, close the existing session and reopen the target service so the old exit is not reused.
Billing & Refunds
Monthly plans reset on the activation date, while data packs remain available until used. Before ordering, confirm the billing period and your usage habits; manage the order in the user panel after payment.
14-day no-questions-asked refundWhat monthly plans does VPNIG offer?
Monthly plans are ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Choose based on your everyday usage and the share of high-traffic activities such as video and downloads, rather than comparing total data alone. The user panel shows the current status of each plan.
When does monthly data reset, and how is a mid-cycle upgrade calculated?
Data resets monthly on the activation date. For a mid-cycle upgrade, the price difference is prorated by the remaining days. Before proceeding, check your current plan, remaining status, and available tiers in the user panel so you do not confuse monthly reset rules with data-pack usage.
Do data packs expire?
Data packs remain available until used and never expire. Options are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They suit users with irregular usage who prefer to consume data as needed. Monthly plans reset on the activation date, so choose between the two billing models based on your usage habits.
Which payment methods are available?
Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT are supported. When placing an order, select an available payment method in the user panel and verify the plan name and amount before continuing. If the order status does not update as expected after payment, do not submit the same order again. Keep the order details and explain the issue in a ticket.
How do I request a refund?
VPNIG offers a 14-day no-questions-asked refund. To apply, open the ticket area in the user panel, select the relevant order, and explain your request. You may include order details and the payment method for verification, but do not submit your password or full subscription link. See the refund policy page for the applicable rules.
